RINO Sightings III; Revenge of the RINO

Hey Kids, It's that time again for a little tour of what all we see around the RINO Horn. Allot of you folks thanked me for hosting. But really I want to thank you guys. I've really gotten into a groove with my blogging and been striving to reach a higher and higher goal ever since I joined up.

So now that the back patting is done lets get to the meat of the Carnival

We start out with John Cole. Justin Raimondo decided to go with the clarion call of all parinoids and delusionals on the political extreme's that "the Jews knew" but John knocks him out of the park with this 1 - 2 Punch. The 7-7 attacks like the 9-11 attacks have been used to try to spread Jew hatred.. And we need to just remind the folks that they are in the "Tin hat" realm of political ideas.

But while terrorists were attacking on the streets of London Tony Blair was pushing for a stronger Kyoto accord and a poll suggests that many Americans support that move but the Enviromental Republican decides to pop that bubble

They sound like a legit organization, or as my Mom would say "they have a website and everything". Well who are the main supporters of this organization? Let's have a look:

Getting away from the War on terror, Joe over at a Typical Joe shows us how Gay marriage is the new abortion.

So let's return now to the "Roe is popular, but restrictions...Are too" point. See, I think that's precisely the gay marriage dynamic, only the inverse is true: The American public polls against gay marriage, but toss in civil unions and the majority's in favor. (I'm sure we'd fare even better in a deliberative poll.)

The majority of the American public favors legal recognition of gay relationships. They don't want gay marriage but they don't want to criminalize a gay identity either (the Religious Right does). They do want to afford legal rights close to if not the equivalent of marriage by a similar majority to those who favor Roe.

So what we'll get is a coalition, a coalition of liberals and moderates that has had little reason to galvanize before. The lower courts' legal reasoning will continue to bring them to the side of equal rights for gay and lesbian people. And the question of do equal rights require marriage rights? will get more and more attention.

While I may not favor it as much as most folks around here he makes a good point and you should Read the whole thing.

Now over on Tom Rants we get to see a much broader face of opposition to our War on Terror. Seems that China and Russia don't like so many US military personnel near them. I'm not sure if that should make me happy or sad yet.

Bad stuff is going down in Yemen and over at Incognito Blog they have a way for you to do your part. This is from the good folks who bring you Armies of Liberation so you know it's good stuff.

Over at Say Uncle we get to see the folks in Tennessee doing weird things with the drug laws... And the tax laws to.

Bill over at INDCJOURNAl who helped suck me into the whole blog scene during the rathergate period ( yes Bill you made me want to blog.... Damn you!) has decided to take John Cole to task on his view of the War in Iraq. Bill and John both make good cases for their point of view. But isn't that nice to see two people giving and taking and yah know.. Respecting each other.

If only the media and politicians could do that.

orac over at Respectful Insolence gives a good top to bottom review of the overuse and abuse of Nazi and Holocaust references...Especially when used by the "Vaccine's cause autism crowd". Short of something like Rwanda and Dafur we should keep the Nazi card in the pocket. And If I see one more person PWN the people over the claim autism is a new accidental product of vaccines I'll just start to laugh at anyone who says that it does as crazy.

mark at Decision 08 gives us a reason to give some love out to the gang of 14.

JimK over at Right Thoughts shows how Nancy Pelosi could use a civics class... It's a shame folks like her cut those out of the school budgets to pay for self-esteem classes.

And Dan over at Searchlight Crusade passes along word about Hackers trying to take down our front line in the war against moonbats Protest Warrior.com. It goes to show you though that instead of beating the Protest Warriors in the field of ideas the far left would rather break the law to shut them down.
