Well (no surprise) the teacher with the book on how the iraq reconstruction was a failure has a political angle to grind in his class on international conflict.

He also is a russia expert by training ( so i guess he would probably have been a sovietist) so that makes some of where he is coming from more obvious.

the choice plum comment he made was IIRC "We don't even know if the conflict of the Civil War (American) is resolved yet."

yeah.... I think though depending on the read i get from him in the second class i might want to play down my feelings and opinions some
