Air America: this is just sad

From the Radioequalizer

This isn't about politics, this is about sense.

Rush and people who are radio people in talk radio called for Air America to bringing it on because they were going to lose badly must be snickering.

Air America's ownership group which had to know that one of their members stole from a boys and girls club is now begging people to help keep them afloat.

what did Air America send you for my personal favorite nation in the world (donation)
For $50, they'll send three "official" bumper stickers, while $100 gets a "stylish" tote bag thrown in. The sucker who has everything might choose the $250 version, including the above and an on-air thanks from one of Air America's talk hosts.

or as some one on radio-info points out
Talk about cheap! Public radio has better offers than that. This sounds like a desperation move. How hard up for cash flow could they be? They are running spots but a lot of them sound like bottom-feeder PI (per inquiry) spots (no cash, they get a commission if anybody orders).

The least they could do is offer stock, then if the thing ever does take off people could see some return. Keep in mind folks, donations to a for-profit business are NOT deductible.

but in the end folks... if any of you out there are Air America fans I want you to think about this real hard. Lets assume Air America finally gets its head out of its behind. Air America's share holders sell the company and make a profit.

thats right people If your donations save Air America, you are making them rich

and when air america's board is supported by multi-millionares and multibillionares that makes me kind of ill
