Every parinoid republican has come out fearing the coming of Hillary in 08

Dick Morris has talked about Hillary as a tough canidate to beat.

Well, Hillary has some problems as a canidate running for office and i will lay them out with some solutions.... anyone who forwards them to Mrs. C... if you could get me a stipened i'd appreciate it.

#1) Accomplishment: Minus her first term in the senate, Mrs. Clinton has had no real accomplishments on her own. Everything in her life has been brought to her based on Bill or the connections Bill had. While Hillary likes to make the case she had other options she gave up for him, her Bar exams made it clear maybe following her heart was the best course of action.

In the Senate Hillary has gotten into some bi partisan/comprimisy sort of legislation.... But i think between now and 2006 Hillary needs to have a stake in some form of comprimise. The country being all "divided" anyone who can get the "it" factor i think for the democratic primary in 08 needs to have the ability to work with/talk like republicans.

I think the Best issue Hillary can jump onto is Social Security reform. Its a huge need for the public good, and she can establish a strong line of "finishing the work She and Bill started" -( but that can also be a problem which i will get into later)- when Hillary has something Major that she has her stamp on before the 06 elections this will help her establish credibility with the economically concerned voters.

#2)National Defense: I think Hillary needs to find the middle ground between Lieberman and Kerry. though i think her outhawking the republicans may be nessecary due to her gender ( though we have never had a female canidate who had this serious a chance of winning). She also needs to have a VP who brings some Military credentials to the ticket.

#3) The Clinton Factor

Lets face it, while bill is good at getting the base up , he is a double edged sword for her. Potentially bill could be viewed as a shadow at some psychological level.
So she has to find a way that both evokes the positives of her husband's leadership, but shows herself as her own woman.

She needs to pick a fight with the Clinton legacy, something it did as a mistake

#4) East coast/Blue state blues.

Hillary can't pull "Arkansas" off anymore. Even Bill had some trouble. So Hillary needs to start spending alot of time with voters in the heartland, just as she did with her "listening" tour when she ran for the senate she needs to listen to middle america voters ( by listen i mean photo op listening)

#5)"Queen of Mean"

Hillary has a rumored mean streak. She needs to make some serious efforts between now and 08 to soften up her image. People dislike mean canidates for president ( Kerry and Bush both had equal mean sides)... And i don't think america is ready to elect a queen B**** as president.
