Being in the mind of a terrorist isn't that hard at all

Ok, people often marvel and are confused at the Terrorist mind and worldview. Its not that hard to contemplate at all.

So sit back and imagine being born into the cradle of human civilization. Around you lay the ruins of the very birthplace of what we view as our "cultured" society.

But, it is in RUINS. This greatness that your ansectors were responsible for is gone, blown away in the sands of time.

You live in a nation that is really two worlds;
the rich and political elite live a life much like those who have privilege in this country.

the rest of the nation, lives a life barely above the worst this country has to offer. Some live a life far worse then we can possibly know

Great riches, obscene riches lay outside your grasp. Your people can have great riches and were the foundations of human culture.

Now you are a Muslim. Your religon teaches duty and discipline, it teaches submission to the laws of g-d

that there are two worlds the world of the believer and the world of the infidel.

But the World of the Infidel is so much greater, much like the world of the elite in your nations.

then a man comes to you, he tells you that all will be right when the people come to Allah, when we become obedient enough we will overthrow those who are in leauge with the Harab ( afterall, they are rich just like them)

It plays into hatred of those who have what you don't
Plays into hatred of outsiders
Plays into religous devoution
plays into nationalism

it isn't very hard to think why a young man would die to restore the wealth and dignity of the people who started civilization.
