NAACP leader denounces conservatives, Bush
MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- Renewing his attack on conservatives and the Bush administration Sunday, NAACP chairman Julian Bond accused national leaders of rolling back past civil rights gains, crippling efforts to battle racism and undermining democracy.
Julian Bond Denounces the President every chance he gets... so why is this news? He has probably said that george Bush wants to repeal the emancipation proclimation... the man is a class A moonbat. Yet for some reason CNN feels that it is newsworthy that he has attacked the president ( for the 508th time)
President Bush has turned down five invitations to attend NAACP gatherings, including this year's, and Bond on Sunday invited Bush to the next one, in Washington.
"Mr. President, we're extending the invitation a year in advance," Bond said. "We want to see you and we want you to see us -- we want to know you think you're our president, too."
Yeah when you guys painted him with the same brush as the bigoted rednecks who drug a black man in texas to his death behind their truck... and you wonder why the President doesn't want to show up to your little party. Maybe.. i mean... just maybe you could apologise for that lunacy eh? nahhh.. this is the NAACP we are talking about
