"I'm shocked that he would have the nerve to show his face in front of any African-American organization after the way they treated those people in New Orleans," Dean told the Hartford Courant.
Wow.... So once again lets not blame the city or the state that dropped the ball ( which I do) Lets blame the federal government ( i fault them a little) and a federal agency that is pretty A-Political ( as the gun grabs in New Orleans tell us)
Look at Howard Dean's words. He says these words as his counterpart over at the GOP is going out trying to bring African Americans into the Republican party.
He's apologising for some of the legitimate bigotry the party has done in the past.
So, does -anyone- else see which side will win and which well lose?
I'll tell you. In American politics the guy who radiates positivity tends to win and the guy who radiates negativity tends to lose.
but in the end, Howard Dean wins because of the sentiment expressed here
That caught the attention of Dawn Poindexter, 43, a Democrat from Hamden, Conn.
"I like their views, but I'm really used to familiarity," she said. "I like the real basis of his message, the unification piece, coming together for a common interest.
They buy into a system out of familiarity, not out of belief in what it stands for.
That is why the democrats are losing right now in a nut shell.
